Role Overview

​​In this role, you will work closely with our partners and customers to set up and configure devices, ensuring they are equipped with Staex’s cutting-edge telemetry software. You’ll work with a variety of hardware, including Raspberry Pi setups, external modules, and LTE modems. Flexibility, problem-solving skills, and customer-facing abilities are essential to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Connect external modules to Raspberry Pi (e.g., USB, GPIO, CAN).

  • Install Raspberry Pi OS and Staex software on devices.

  • Configure and operate LTE modems (including SIM card setup and AT command configuration).

  • Integrate GPIO sensors with Raspberry Pi.

  • Deploy and troubleshoot project setups as needed.

  • Support customers by ensuring a smooth and successful deployment process.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Raspberry Pi hardware and peripheral connection (USB, GPIO, CAN).

  • Experience with OS installation and configuration on Raspberry Pi.

  • Basic knowledge of LTE modems and AT command usage.

  • Understanding of GPIO sensor connectivity with Raspberry Pi.

  • Customer-oriented with strong communication skills.

  • Team player with a collaborative attitude; experience in a startup environment is a plus.
